Construction is underway at Hockley Valley Resort for cabin, a new restaurant showcasing Canadiana cuisine, which will open December 17.
The restaurant’s 2,600-sq.-ft. space will combine rustic and modern décor elements, including reclaimed hardwood floors and wooden beams from an old barn and a 16-ft. steel and glass chandelier.
Under the direction of acclaimed Canadian Chef Michael Potters, cabin will celebrate the best of local cuisine, using ingredients from the resort’s two-acre fruit and vegetable garden, seasonal preserves, and fare from local farmers and suppliers.
The open-concept restaurant will offer seating for up to 70 guests, including an interactive Chef’s Table in front of Chef Potters’ cooking area, semi-private dining, and an intimate dining room.
