Vancouver-based International Conference Services Ltd. (ICS) has bought Pacific Northwest Planners (PNWP) and Education & Career Fairs (ECF).

Launched in 1996, PNWP is an event-services company involved in tradeshow and conference management.

Along with PNWP, ICS has acquired the contract for the B.C. Association of Broadcasters Annual Conference for 2010 (Victoria, B.C.) and 2011 (Kelowna, B.C.).

In addition, ICS will continue to manage the Bird Strike North America Conference, which PNWP has organized in Canada since 1999.

The 2009 North America Bird Strike Conference is to be held September 14-17, 2009, at the Delta Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort, in Victoria.

With its purchase of Education & Career Fairs, ICS brings under its umbrella B.C.’s largest career-planning events.
