Dear Ms. Fox, congratulations on your recent promotion. I’m afraid that you have your work cut out for you.

In trying to book a package that would include 6 -8 nights in Fairmont hotels, your computer system prevents your staff from being of any use.

As you probably know, when they look at the reservations calendar, they can only see one day at a time. That makes booking a trip unnecessarily hard. Also, with some hotel chains I could book a room five years in advance if I needed to. Your system allows me to book 10 or 11 months in advance at most and that seems to depend on the individual hotel. Surely, your rates don’t change that much every year.

The most “unusual” fact is that when data is unavailable, instead of saying NA,
it tells me that the room rate is $100,000/night!

I’m not sure how such a hotel can stay in business let alone thrive (as I hope
    you will do).
