Alexander Keith's Nova Scotia Brewery
For an entertaining group experience, try Alexander Keith’s Nova Scotia Brewery Tour in downtown Halifax. Delight as actors in period costume lead groups back in time to experience life in Halifax in 1863, the age of pirates and privateers. Visitors will sample a selection of Alexander Keith’s famous beer, while actors entertain with songs and stories popular in Victorian Halifax.
Tours (of up to 35 people) last about 55 minutes and are customizable. Add a private catered dinner in the Stag’s Head Feast package and interact with the costumed actors in a laid-back setting. The brewery tour space is also available for rental and is ideal for receptions of up to 100 people.
Tours are year-round, but times vary, depending on the season and group size. Victorian Christmas tours begin in late November and are popular for corporate holiday parties.
