Kimpton Hotels is introducing new services and amenities that promote customer wellbeing at its properties.
At many hotels, for instance, complimentary or rent-by-the-day bikes are now available. Weighted work-out hula hoops and jump ropes are now available in all fitness centres at all Kimpton hotels.
In addition to providing custom running maps in every city, Kimpton employees regularly lead group jogs and power walks that venture along scenic city paths or through picturesque neighborhoods.
Guests can also take advantage of complimentary or donation-based group exercise classes at all hotels, which range from poolside Pilates in San Diego, to Zumba or Barre Bee Fit classes in Chicago.
This follows the announcement, in January, of a partnership with Today Show health and nutrition expert Joy Bauer, which introduced complimentary on-demand videos on food- and exercise-related topics, and an in-room menu that offers seven healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner options.
