Langham Hospitality Group Brings Eaton Hotel Brand to Canada


Langham Hospitality Group, a subsidiary of Hong Kong-based Great Eagle Holdings Limited, is rebranding the former Delta Chelsea, Canada’s largest hotel, as Eaton Chelsea, Toronto starting July 1, 2013. The repositioning makes the hotel, which is located in downtown Toronto, the first of its kind in Canada. It joins other Eaton Hotels located in Hong Kong, Shanghai and New Delhi.

The renovations, which are scheduled to be completed at the end of June 2013, include the lobby, Market Garden Restaurant and several new Eaton brand signature features.

“We are incredibly excited to take the hotel to the next level with an entirely new and upgraded guest experience,” says Butcher. “Guests will benefit from the new Eaton brand standards, which are trendy, accessible and comfortable while exceeding the customers’ expectations from what they were previously used to. Our refurbished plans are ambitious and extensive, and we are extremely proud to welcome this refreshed landmark hotel to our group on Canada Day this year.”

Renovations and additions include:

  • an Eaton brand signature “Express O” coffee kiosk, in the the newly renovated Market Garden Restaurant, offering patrons a “plug n play” option while having a beverage
  • T Bar, formally the Elm Street Lounge, another Eaton brand signature, will be included in the lobby renovation.
  • lobby renovation will feature an eco-friendly “Vertical Garden”
  • complimentary WiFi
  • E Point business area
  • extensive  interior upgrades to all function and meeting facilities on the second and third floors
