Pierre Gagnaire's Twist restaurant.
The Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas is the only Las Vegas hotel with three Forbes Five Star ratings to its credit.
Forbes Travel Guide (formerly Mobil Travel Guide) credited the non-gaming, residential hotel with the triple Five Star award for its hotel, spa and restaurant, Twist.
The ultra-modern Twist is the first U.S. restaurant of the Michelin-starred chef Pierre Gagnaire.
Located on the 23rd floor of the hotel, Twist, as well as the Tea Lounge and the Mandarin Bar, afford striking views of The Strip.
The 392-room Mandarin Oriental (a boutique property by Las Vegas standards) is one of just four hotels in the U.S. to receive Forbes Five Star designation in all three categories for 2012.
As for amenities, the Mandarin Oriental Spa – with 27,000 sq. ft. spread over two floors and with 17 treatment rooms – is considered large for a property this size.
On the events side, the third-floor function space – including a ballroom accommodating 400 – offers a convenient separate entrance from the main porte cochère.
