The Quebec cabinet has named Marc Tremblay president and CEO, and member of the board, of the Société du Palais des congrès de Montréal, effective October 26.
The president of Six Flags – La Ronde, in Montreal, for the past three years, he is also the former City of Montreal assistant director general for economic development, urban planning, housing, real estate and heritage.
He also worked at Intrawest, as Mont Tremblant’s assistant director general and executive director of sales and marketing, and was vice-president and CEO of Mountain Creek Resort, in New Jersey.
Based in downtown Montreal, the Palais des Congres is Montreal’s premiere conference venue.
