Maritz Travel CEO Christine Duffy Named President of Cruise Lines International Association

Maritz Travel president and CEO Christine Duffy will become the Cruise Lines International Association’s (CLIA) new president on Feb. 1, 2011.

Maritz Travel president and CEO Christine Duffy will become the Cruise Lines International Association’s (CLIA) new president on Feb. 1, 2011.

Duffy replaces Terry Dale, who was CLIA’s president for seven years.

As president and CEO of Maritz Travel, Duffy managed more than $700-million in client programmes.

Duffy will be based in CLIA’s Washington, D.C., office and will also work from the association’s office in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

The nonprofit CLIA is North America’s largest cruise industry organization, representing the interests of 25 member lines.
