MGM Grand's Skyline Terrace Suite.
The MGM Grand in Las Vegas has completed a $160-million remodelling of over 4,000 of its guestrooms and suites.
Included in the reno are ‘green’ elements such as LED lighting; improved thermostats and solar shades, to better manage temperatures; upgraded faucets and showers; and bath amenities that are 100-per-cent biodegradable.
Several of the new suites also feature large outdoor terraces with panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip.
In addition, the hotel also announced a collection of 42 Stay Well Rooms designed for guests who don’t want to give up their “wellness lifestyles” when they travel.
For instance, those rooms offer light therapy, to help manage jetlag, and shower water infused with Vitamin C, to promote healthy hair and skin.
The Stay Well Rooms will be ready for guests in late October.
