The Miami Airport Hilton is completely redoing its 500 guestrooms and suites and guest elevators and building a new fitness centre, targeting a fall completion.

Paying homage to the hotel’s locale – a private peninsula on Blue Lagoon – the renovation will blend tropical accents and an eco-friendly philosophy with a contemporary design.

Room will feature plush-top beds and down duvets, wireless Internet, spacious work desk and laptop-size in-room safe. Guest bathrooms will be outfitted with glass-enclosed showers and neutral ceramic tile.

In 2010, the hotel completed renovations of all guestroom and meeting-room corridors, the Cove Ballroom, as well as a refurbishment of Coral Cafe and the Blue Lagoon Saloon Bar.

On the meetings side, the property offers 30,000 sq. ft. of flexible function space.
