Residence Inn by Marriott Montreal Downtown has re-opened following a multi-million dollar renovation.
“We’re beyond excited to be open again and our guest response has been exceptional,” said Marco Carelli, general manager of Residence Inn Montreal Downtown. “Our returning guests are thrilled with the transformation and our new modern look—and we’ve enjoyed meeting many new first-time guests who love how welcome they’ve been made to feel by all of our incredible associates.”
The 210-suite property’s floor-to-ceiling transformation included new carpet, floor tiles, wall vinyl, furnishings, appliances, technology, artwork and decor.
Montreal Residence Inn’s New Look
The new look begins in the lobby which now features an elegant, cozy fireplace. The Hearth Room, which serves up a hearty breakfast buffet, now has floor-to-ceiling windows that look out onto Peel Street.
A colour palette comprised of chocolate brown, neutrals and teal gives the property’s suites and studios a warm, contemporary feel. The fully-equipped kitchens have elegant cabinetry and new stainless-steel appliances. Bathrooms have been given a facelift featuring quartz countertops on dark wood cabinets, space-saving shelving, glass-enclosed showers and new ceramic tile.
The suites and studios also have new bedding with feather and foam pillows; stylish light features; and flat-panel TVs. The new 1,200-square-foot, 24-hour fitness centre has treadmills, an elliptical and a bike, all with integrated TVs. It also has free weights and Pilates equipment.
The Residence Inn Montreal Downtown has one 538-square-foot meeting/event space with a capacity of 40.
