HSMAI seeks to increase hotel revenue.
Meeting Professionals International (MPI) has launched a strategic partnership with Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI).
In the partnership, MPI will provide its education for meeting and event planners at certain HSMAI events, and HSMAI will provide training and professional development for suppliers at select MPI events.
The partnership debuted at the recent MPI World Education Conference (WEC), in St. Louis, Mo., where suppliers attending WEC could attend HSMAI tracks, which drew on HSMAI leaders with expertise in sales and marketing.
This is the first partnership for MPI and HSMAI. In time, the organizations will identify additional opportunities, such as the possibility of joint membership.
