MPI & HSMAI Launch Dual Membership Targeted to Suppliers

Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) have launched a dual membership.

Targeted to the supplier community, the dual membership is the result of the strategic partnership MPI and HSMAI announced in July and initiated with reciprocal education sessions at MPI’s World Education Congress and HSMAI’s MEET National.

Benefits of the partnership include enhanced planner education at HSMAI events and enhanced supplier education at MPI events; stronger collaborative efforts between MPI and HSMAI on key industry initiatives; increased networking and marketplace opportunities; and a combined voice for industry advocacy

An MPI spokesman confirmed that Canadian suppliers are eligible for the dual membership. In addition, a special membership promotion discount will be available Sept. 21 to Dec. 31, 2012.
