Nashville One Step Closer to New Convention Centre

Nashville, Tenn., Metro Council has voted to buy 16 acres of land earmarked for a new, 525,000-sq.-ft. convention centre, planned for a 2013 opening.

Nashville, Tenn., Metro Council has voted to buy 16 acres of land earmarked for a new, 525,000-sq.-ft. convention centre, planned for a 2013 opening.

The new centre would greatly bolster meetings and events business to the city. Already, three major events have already been booked into the proposed convention and conference facility.
