Natasha Schooten has been named chef de cuisine at Watermark Beach Resort, in Osoyoos, B.C., a potentially popular destination property for meeting and event planners.
Heading up the property’s Watermark Wine Bar & Patio, Schooten will partner with local farmers and producers to showcase an ever-changing menu that will incorporate her culinary passions.
For seven years, Schooten worked for Delta Hotels, in kitchens as far east as Guelph, Ont., and as far west as Kamloops, B.C.
Most recently, she worked with chef Michael Allemeier at the Mission Hill Family Estate winery, in Kelowna, B.C.
