Ned Bell will be head chef at Rosewood Hotel Georgia.
Ned Bell will lead the hotel dining team at Rosewood Hotel Georgia, in Vancouver, when the property opens May 7.
Complementing the cuisine of chef David Hawksworth, who will lead Rosewood Hotel Georgia’s signature restaurant, Hawksworth, Bell will direct the hotel’s meeting, event and wedding catering; 24-hour room service; lobby bar, 1927; open-air Reflections space; and cocktail lounge, Prohibition.
Beginning his career in Vancouver, Bell has worked with Le Crocodile’s Michel Jacob and Lumiere’s Rob Feenie.
He has also worked in Toronto, at Accolade and Senses restaurants, and at Peninsula Ridge Estate Winery, in Ontario’s Niagara Region.
After that, he opened Murrieta’s Grill and, in 2007, relocated to Kelowna, B.C., to become co-owner and corporate chef in the Cabana Bar and Grille, where he retains his co-owner status.
