EVEN Hotels will focus on guest wellness.
The flagship EVEN Hotel, a new brand of IHG InterContinental Hotels Group, will open in midtown Manhattan in late 2014. The 87,000-sq.-ft. new-build will house 230 guestrooms, dedicated meeting space and indoor/outdoor exercise areas. All-day dining outlets will serve nutritious-focused food and beverages.
The brand will offer solutions for travellers’ holistic wellness needs in the areas of food, work, exercise and rest.
Guestrooms will include such amenities as fitness walls and exercise balls, while each lobby will offer a Wellness Wall for staff-driven wellness recommendations, tips and local options.
Guests will find cardio, strength-training and mat-exercise areas, plus group activities in the spacious gyms that will be incorporated into each property. There will be no spa option.
The first EVEN hotel will open later this year at a yet-to-be-announced location. IHG expects to sign 100 EVEN Hotels in the U.S. in the next 5 years.
