A new speakers bureau, Future Voices, features a database representing futurists and trend experts in a variety of fields.
By doing this, the bureau provides a one-stop resource for meeting and event planners looking for cutting-edge presenters.
Speakers are screened for both expertise and delivery, and are available in a variety of fee ranges.
Bureau members include dozens of international experts with knowledge in specific fields.
Once planners have found a potential speaker, Future Voices lets planners connect directly with them. The bureau does not insist on handling money or contracting.
“Some planners like dealing with bureau salespeople,” says Patti Pokorchak, executive director of the Toronto-based bureau.
“But many prefer to deal directly with their speakers. Speakers know more about how they can add value to a given event than any salesperson can, and most innovative ideas come from discussions with a specific speaker,” she says.
