Groupe Germain Hospitality plans to bring its no-frills-chic ALT Hotel brand to downtown Ottawa, with a property slated to open in the nation’s capital in autumn, 2014.
Featuring 148 rooms, the 12-floor ALT Hotel Ottawa will feature approximately 4,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, a gym and eco-friendly components such as geothermal heating and cooling.
Also offered will be the ALT Hotel’s signature amenities, such as complimentary WiFi and ultra-comfortable beds.
Located on Slater Street, the property will be built into a mixed-use complex that also houses 164 luxury condominiums.
Construction is expected to begin next spring.
ALT Hotels operate in Quebec City, Montreal’s Quartier Dix30 and at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport.
By the end of 2016, Groupe Germain plans to operate ten ALT Hotels across Canada.
