Doral Golf Resort & Spa, in Miami, Fla., has been accepted as the newest member of Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI).
The legendary 650-acre resort, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, is undergoing an extensive $200-million renovation that will transform the property.
Throughout the renovation, the resort will remain fully operational, which is expected to conclude in 2014.
ALHI, with its established Global Sales Organization (GSO) sales force throughout North America, now provides authorized and dedicated GSO services and sales support to corporations, associations, independent planners, business executives, and incentive specialists interested in conducting a meeting or program at the resort.
Doral Golf Resort & Spa features 693 guestrooms across 10 lodges; more than 90,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space; and five championship golf courses.
