Grand Velas resort.
The 491-suite Grand Velas Riviera Maya (near Playa de Carmen) and the 267-suite Grand Vilas Riviera Nayarit (near Puerto Vallarta), Mexico, are offering planners credits of $5,000 USD and $3,000 USD (respectively) on new business for 2013/2014 booked prior to March 31, 2013.
Director of group sales for both all-inclusive properties, Jorge A. Meraz, says the credit can be used to cover set-up fees, extended coffee breaks, and food and beverage banquet upgrades or enhanced wine menus in any of the resort’s eight restaurants.
The credit is also good at the Spa at Grand Velas. With over 89,000 sq. ft., it’s the region’s largest, able to accommodate up to 280 clients a day.
The largest luxury meeting facility in Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, the AAA Five Diamond Grand Velas Riviera Maya offers 91,547 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor meetings and events space, while the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit offers 25,321 sq. ft. of facilities.
