JW Marriot Lobby Bar.
The 497-room JW Marriott New Orleans, located in the heart of the business district and across from the historic French Quarter, has newly completed a multi-million-dollar project encompassing meeting space, lobby and lobby bar.
Hotel meeting space, spread over two floors and totalling 19,000 sq. ft., has been completely refreshed, including new furnishings. Additionally, a fully equipped, self-serve business centre was added.
The 5,700-sq.-ft. Ile de France Ballroom, with its crystal chandeliers, French doors and views of Canal Street, can accommodate up to 500 guests for a banquet setup.
In the lobby and two-storey lobby bar, a new concept was created, resulting in an enhanced flow and additional seating, allowing for a larger gathering space.
Workstations were incorporated and the area now offers free WiFi. The decor is contemporary, with an integration of elements from the local community.
