Le Germain Maple Leaf Square Opens has opened in downtown Toronto, adjacent to the Air Canada Centre arena.

So far, 60 of the Germain's planned 167 guestrooms have opened. Guestrooms range from 400 sq. ft. to 1,500 sq. ft. and feature task-lit, ergonomic workspaces; complimentary WiFi; windows that open; and glass-enclosed rainfall showers.

A 40-seat lobby bar is outfitted with a communal table and six 52-inch television screens.

Five contemporary meeting and event spaces feature a total of 4,600 sq. ft. Natural light prevails.

In addition, the building incorporates responsible energy features such as low-E windows to provide maximum light with minimum heat loss. Domestic hot-water heating comes from HVAC heat rejection.

The hotel (guestrooms, etc). is expected to be fully open by the beginning of December.
