Marcel Berube.
Marcel Berube has been named complex general manager of the Calgary Airport Hotels & Conference Centre.
He will oversee the operations of the 135-room Hampton Inn and 122-room Homewood Suites, which are scheduled to open in late 2013.
Berube joins the Hilton family with 21 years of Canadian hospitality experience, most recently with SilverBirch Hotels & Resorts, where, for the past two years, he was general manager of the Radisson Calgary Airport.
Prior to that, he served as the general manager of the Quality Hotel & Conference Centre Fort McMurray, in Fort McMurray, Alta. Berube has also held management positions with both Radisson Hotel Edmonton South and The Delta Edmonton South hotels.
Calgary Airport Hotels and Conference Centre is the company’s first three-flag hotel development in Canada.
