The Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland has opened in St. John’s, Nfld. Overlooking the city’s historic harbour, the hotel features 301 guestrooms and 14 suites. Each space is equipped with high-speed Internet and provides views of either the city or harbour.
The property houses 17 meeting rooms encompassing 16,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space. The Fort William Ballroom offers 7,296 sq. ft. and features a reception area covering 2,432 sq. ft.
There are two onsite restaurants, The Cabot Club dining room, serving regional specialties, and BonaVista restaurant, whose new menu combines Mediterranean dishes and Newfoundland favourites. The Narrows lounge specializes in light fare and local beer.
Club guests have access to the Club Lounge, offering complimentary breakfast, afternoon hors d’oeuvres, copier/fax/printer and complimentary office supplies.
