The Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham in Estevan, Sask.
MasterBUILT Hotels, a joint venture between Superior Lodging Corp. and Jayman MasterBUILT celebrated the opening of Microtel’s first Canadian prototype hotel in Estevan, Saskatchewan.
The Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham in Estevan is the city’s first hotel to offer guests an indoor pool and waterslide and features an extensive range of complimentary amenities including a deluxe hot continental breakfast, coffee, high-speed wireless Internet, weekday newspaper, indoor water park with hot tub, fitness center, parking and business centre.
The Microtel in Estevan is the first hotel of an extensive development plan by MasterBUILT Hotels that calls for the opening of 75 Microtel by Wyndham hotels in Canada over the next 25 years. The next Microtel is slated to open in Timmins, Ont., later this year with construction scheduled to commence on hotels in Weyburn, Sask., Lloydminster, Sask., Fort McMurray, Alta., Red Deer, Alta. and Blackfalds, Alta., over the next six months. There are currently two other Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham open in Canada in Woodstock and Parry Sound, Ont., both of which represent the brand’s older design concept.
