Ottawa Marriott Executive Level
The Ottawa Marriott located in downtown Ottawa just a few blocks from Parliament Hill has just unveiled a 3,500-sq.-ft. Executive Level on the hotel’s lower lobby. The new conference area is part of a $1.2-million project that includes the just completed renovation of all 36,000 sq. ft. of hotel meeting space.
Designed to allow for multi breakouts, the new Executive Level includes five meeting rooms (one permanent board room plus four flexible rooms). Glass walls create a feeling of spaciousness. The new space will allow groups of up to 100 people to take over an entire floor.
The Executive Level will have its own on-site event co-ordinator and concierge.
The hotel also boasts the only private rotating function space in Ottawa. The 5,000-sq.-ft. revolving room on the hotel’s 29th floor affords striking views of the Ottawa River and Parliament Buildings. Markus Fisher, director of sales and marketing says the space is very popular for days – like Canada Day – when there are fireworks and light shows over Parliament Hill.
