The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain, in Marana, Ariz., has introduced the Roadrunner food-truck experience, providing mobile banquet menus and outdoor dining to groups staying at the resort.
Food trucks could be parked next to an events lawn, stationed outside a ballroom or boardroom, or situated poolside or at a nearby ranch for an al fresco break.
Planners can book the food truck as part of any meeting or event at the property.
Food-truck menus could include tacos (fish, buffalo, beef or Korean); sliders (fish, chicken, pork or black-bean); global fare (duck confit cassoulet; octopus with crushed potatoes; barbecued smoked brisket; or eggplant parmesan); wings, Sonoran Kobe hot dogs, or lobster rolls; high-end pub fare; or desserts, including ice cream, deep-fried and Latin- and Asian-inflected confections.
