SLS Las Vegas.
SLS Las Vegas, an entertainment-driven resort and casino with more than 1,600 guestrooms and suites, is set to open in the North End of the Vegas Strip in fall, 2014, in a redeveloped property.
Parent company sbe has owned and operated the property for seven years, the last four under the banner of The Sahara.
Key elements of SLS Las Vegas will be the design by Philippe Starck; four nightlife venues; a collection of restaurant brands, including The Bazaar by José Andrés and Katsuya by Starck and a 10,000-sq. ft., Fred Segal retail area.
The property will have 34,540 sq. ft. of meeting and event space, plus a spa.
The sbe family of properties include the SLS Hotel Beverly Hills and The Redbury in Los Angeles, and The Raleigh and SLS Hotel South Beach in Miami.
Currently in development are hotels and restaurants in New York, Chicago, Washington D.C., Seattle, Philadelphia, Austin, the Middle East and Asia.
