Novotel Toronto Vaughan Centre has opened, 35 minutes from downtown Toronto.
The first full-service hotel in the city of Vaughan, the 149-room property features five meeting spaces with large floor-to-ceiling windows, a business centre with free Internet access, and a fitness centre with indoor saltwater pool and hot tub. Two fixed boardrooms seat 16, while the Maple and Woodbridge rooms accommodate 30 classroom-style and 50 to 60 for banquets. The largest room, Concord, seats up to 360.
The hotel’s nature-inspired design is based on the four elements of air, fire, earth and water. Natural materials such as slate and stone are used throughout the entrance area, facade and outdoor patio.
As well, the property features a two-sided fireplace in the lobby, a cascading water feature in the patio and an abundance of natural light.
For on-site dining, the hotel’s full-service restaurant, Novotel Trio, serves international cuisine paired with Canadian wines, designed to share.
