Payard's baked goods are now availalbe in the Food Hall.
New York’s Plaza Hotel has opened the second phase of its expansion of The Plaza Food Hall, the European-inspired specialty foodservice area located on the concourse level.
Featured in the expanded hall are brands such as Billy’s Bakery, a 1940s-style shop offering classic American baked goods; FP Patisserie by Francois Payard; Kusmi Tea shop; Paris’s La Maison du Chocolat; and Lady M, handmade gourmet cakes.
Additional shops include Sushi of Gari.
In addition, the hall is providing new non-food venues such as Town and Country Living, selling gift items for home entertaining; Travelex currency exchange; Gramercy Flowers; and the new Plaza Boutique.
Other foodservice purveyors, including one from chef David Burke, are expected to open in the hall, which will, in time, expand to more than 40,000 sq. ft.
