Hilton Chicago O’Hare Airport has completed a $3 million renovation of its second floor conference centre. It is the only hotel connected to the airport via underground walkways.
The hotel has 18,500 sq. ft. of conference space on its second floor. This space includes 36 preset boardrooms of up to 432 sq. ft. each, as well as five free-standing rooms of 666 sq. ft. and a Conference Services desk staffed with dedicated managers to handle attendee needs.
The boardrooms are now have 60-inch LG Smart TV monitors with full connectivity to new conference tables equipped with power and computer connections. The boardrooms are set for 10 to 14 participants.
The conference rooms also feature new LED lighting, blackout screens and new electronic signage at each entrance. In addition, each of the 41 rooms has a dedicated food and beverage buffet space serviced by a separate entrance to minimize disruptions.
The 860-room property has an additional 18,500 sq. ft. of meeting space on other floors, including the 3.500-sq.-ft. Grand Ballroom and nine mezzanine level banquet and larger meeting rooms that can be used for breakouts and catered functions.
