Pan Pacific Vancouver Gets New GM

Craig Norris-Jones, a veteran of almost four decades in the Western Canadian hotel industry, has been appointed general manager of the Pan Pacific Vancouver, effective August 6, 2013.

Zul Somani, a representative of Ocean Pacific Hotels Ltd. (OPHL), owners of the Pan Pacific Vancouver, explains that they were very focused on making sure they found someone with an unwavering commitment to the guest experience and the hotel’s associates to fill the position. “We feel Craig is an excellent fit for us,” he says. “Both OPHL and Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts are delighted that Craig has chosen to join our team.”

Prior to joining Pan Pacific Vancouver, Norris-Jones served as vice-president, Operations for Coast Hotels & Resorts. In his lengthy career with Coast Hotels, he was instrumental in the continued expansion of the company into Western Canada and the United States. In his role of vice-president, Operations, Norris-Jones  led by example with a direct, honest, and straightforward management style.
