Join Meetings + Incentive Travel (M+IT) on April 17th from 1:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. EST for our first Tweet Chat by following hashtag #chatMIT. Add to the conversation where we ask the planner community two thought-provoking questions:
1. How do we use NMID as a catalyst to effect change in the industry?
2. What can the planning community do better communicate our role and economic impact to people outside of the industry?
This chat leads directly into National Meetings Industry Day, happening April 18th across Canada, and aims to engage planners to enact change in the industry.
M+IT is sending team members to cities across Canada to participate in National Meetings Industry Day and continue the conversation. Look for Alanna McQuaid in Halifax, Stephanie Hiltz in Montreal, Christine Otsuka in Ottawa, Sonja Chilcott and Lori Smith in Toronto, Stephen Ferrie in Winnipeg, Brian Eastcott in Edmonton, Robin Paisley in Calgary and Cori Canuel in Vancouver.
The team will be tweeting from their respective cities throughout the day, bringing the entire M+IT community together to continue the previous day’s tweet chat.
We invite you to follow our commentary with the hashtag #chatMIT and #nmid13.
