The Peabody Orlando has unveiled its $450-million expansion that has increased meeting space and added a new bar and restaurant.
The newly expanded hotel features 300,000 sq. ft. of flexible function space, including the pillar-free, 54,652-sq.-ft. Peabody grand ballroom; a 75,000-sq.-ft. rotunda; the 34,378-sq.-ft. Windermere ballroom; the 26,923-sq.-ft. Plaza International ballroom; two junior ballrooms; 99 breakout rooms; three green rooms and five boardrooms, all connected by two covered walkways to the Orange County Convention Center.
Meeting and event planners can house groups in a 32-storey tower and choose from 1,641 luxurious guestrooms. Also on-site are a 22,000-sq.-ft., full-service spa and fitness centre and three landscaped pools.
Ten dining and entertainment options including a new Napa Valley wine-themed restaurant and bar called Napa and a new, 6,000-sq.-ft. lounge, Rocks.
