Porter Airlines is reinstating winter service to Mont Tremblant, Que., with up to 12 flights per week, an increase from last season’s eight weekly flights, from Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport.
Dec. 21 through Jan. 9, 2011, the airline will offer three weekly roundtrip flights; Jan. 10 through Jan. 23, 2011, nine weekly roundtrips; and Jan. 26 through April 3, 2011, 12 weekly roundtrips.
Connecting flights from Thunder Bay, Ont., Boston, Chicago and New York will be available in Toronto, a boon for incentive groups led by meeting and event planners.
“This winter, Porter will operate flights to the region six days a week during peak season to help meet the growing demand for service,” said Robert Deluce, president and CEO of Porter Airlines.
In addition, Porter is partnering with travel specialist Ultimate Ski Vacations to provide air-inclusive packages, including lift tickets and accommodations.
