Porter Airlines is introducing service between Timmins, Ont., and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, with three daily roundtrip flights, beginning Jan. 16, 2012.
Highlights of the new weekday schedule include: Toronto departure times 8:35 a.m., 3:55 p.m., 9:40 p.m.; Timmins departure times: 6:25 a.m.; 11:00 a.m.; 6:00 p.m.
The new route continues Porter’s Northern Ontario expansion, which includes service to Thunder Bay, Sudbury and Sault Ste Marie.
Connecting flights from Toronto City Airport also provide travel options within Porter’s network.
Since its launch in 2006, the airline has introduced service to each of its 16 markets.including Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City, Windsor, Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, Halifax, St. John’s, Nfld., New York, Boston, Chicago and seasonal service to Myrtle Beach and Mont Tremblant, Que.
