Porter is offering Starbucks coffee and tea in its Toronto and Ottawa passenger lounges
Porter Airlines is now serving Starbucks Pike Place Roast coffee and Tazo teas in-flight and in its passenger lounges at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport and the Ottawa International Airport.
Porter is the first airline in the world to offer Starbucks products.
To ensure the coffee experience at the airport and on flights is consistent with the Starbucks store experience, the coffee company’s employees will train Porter staff in the preparation of the brews.
“We are proud to serve Starbucks coffee in our lounge and in-flight as a way to provide our customers with a refined travelling experience,” said Robert Deluce, president and CEO of Porter.
The agreement also includes Starbucks branding in Porter’s passenger lounges.
