Porter offers charter flights to assorted destinations.
Along with scheduled service to about 20 short-haul destinations in Canada and the U.S., Toronto-based Porter Airlines offers charter flights via its fleet of 70-seat Bombardier Q400 aircraft.
Some of the more popular charter destinations include Quebec City and Mont Tremblant, Que. and, for natural-resource companies, Northern Ontario destinations.
“Many clients find that a charter is ideal for team-building as part of the process of getting to a conference or event,” says Brad Cicero, Porter’s manager of communications and public affairs.
Noteworthy for incentive programs: charters can take advantage of private FBO (Fixed Base Operation) departures and arrivals, making the flight process less hectic by avoiding the traditional passenger terminal experience.
Cicero says onboard and pre-flight service can also be customized with catering, themes, gifts and other features such as a head-rest cover branded with a company logo.
He says the best way to submit charter requests is through the website.
