Radisson Hotel Saskatoon has unveiled a $5-million makeover of its guestrooms and meeting spaces in time to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
The facelift includes new carpets, furniture, bedding and bathrooms with granite countertops, all in neutral and navy tones.
Meeting rooms have also been refreshed with new carpet and paint.
“The addition of flat screen TVs with HD technology will also be well-received, particularly with business travelers,” says general manager Patty Schweighardt.
The next renovation phase will include a $2-million cosmetic and structural renovation to the lobby, conference space and waterworks area.
Recently, Saskatchewan Tourism gave the hotel a “Land of Living Skies” award recognizing environmental leadership.
For instance, the renovations were managed in a green way, with all possible materials being recycled and repurposed.
