Rebranded Capri Hotel Launches as Sheraton Red Deer

Sheraton Red Deer Hotel, a rebranding of the Capril Hotel in that Central Alberta city, has opened.

Central Alberta’s only four-star hotel and conference centre, the refurbished property features 241 remodelled guestrooms and suites, including 24 new rooms.

Guestrooms feature the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed, complete with 300-thread-count sheets.

Meeting space includes a 12,000-sq.-ft. ballroom and a 33,000-sq.-ft. exhibit hall with 26-ft. ceilings.

Onsite amenities include a 24-hour fitness facility, featuring the latest in strength and cardio equipment, a sauna, a steam bath and a seasonal outdoor heated pool.

On the restaurant side, there’s fine-dining Barbero’s and casual-food Joe’s Deli. For late-night entertainment, Billy Bob’s Country Music Dance Hall stays open until 3:00 a.m.

The Garden Terrace Lounge features a view of the outdoor pool.
