Luxury hotel brand Ritz-Carlton opens its first Toronto hotel on Feb. 16, in the heart of the city’s entertainment district.

The 53-storey property features 267 guestrooms, including 59 suites, and 159 condominium residences. All guestrooms are a minimum of 450 sq. ft. and feature floor-to-ceiling windows with heated perimeter flooring, rain showerhead, deep soaker tub, private voicemail and twice-daily housekeeping.

Thirteen meeting rooms sprawl over two floors and include a 7,400-sq.-ft. ballroom, divisible in four sections, for up to 700 guests, and the 3,000-sq.-ft. Wellington Ballroom, for up to 325. The Grand Foyer and Promenade offer pre-function space for another 650 guests.

Amenities include a 23,000-sq.-ft. full-service spa, fitness centre and yoga studio. Food options include TOCA by tom brodi, serving fresh, organic fare, and DEQ, an all-day casual restaurant.
