Ritz-Carlton, Naples Reopens

The Ritz-Carlton, NaplesRemastered guest room, Ritz-Carlton, Naples, Florida (Florida) re-opened this month after being closed this summer for a complete overhaul of its 450 guest rooms, suites, corridors, dining outlets and ballroom as well as structural, mechanical and engineering upgrades.

“This re-mastering underscores our continued commitment to delivering world-class product and service excellence that exceed our guests’ expectations,” said Edward V. Staros, vice-president, managing director of The Ritz-Carlton Resorts of Naples and one of the original founders of the Ritz-Carlton brand.

The hotel’s remastering includes:

  • New guest rooms designed by Wimberly Interiors in a style reminiscent of  a luxurious, residential beach home.
  • A new colour palette (soft silvers, whites and light greys complementing sparkling chandeliers) and restructuring of the floor plan of the hotel’s ballroom, which is now called Artisans.
  • Complete refurbishment of the resort’s two dining options and bar. The Sushi Bar, now called Dusk, is suitable for small events. It has additional outdoor seating and views of the Gulf of Mexico. A new Italian-inspired restaurant, Terrazza, will open its doors on November 1. In addition, contemporary accents have been added to the classic furnishings and decor of The Grill steakhouse and specialty restaurant.

Renovations to the hotel’s 20,000-sq.-ft. Southwest Florida meeting space, lobby and other public spaces were made prior to this just-completed phase of renovations.
