The Ritz-Carlton New York, Battery Park, has completed a $10-million refurbishment that renovated all 298 guestrooms, suites and the Ritz-Carlton Club level.
The guestroom design incorporates colour schemes featuring teals, golds, grays and yellows.
Augmenting that are new desks, LG HDTV flat-screen televisions, built-in dressers with cantilevered desks and custom-designed lamps.
All guest corridors received new carpets and upholstered wall coverings. Additionally, the hotel’s Club Lounge has expanded its seating and updated furnishings.
Featuring a waterfront location, the 39-storey Ritz-Carlton provides panoramic views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and New York Harbor.
On the service side, the property offers bath butlers, valets, concierges, spa treatments and 24-hour room service.
On the meetings and events side, there are a dozen rooms in its hotel conference center, including a 4,443-sq.-ft. ballroom; the Harbor Vista room, at 2,800 sq. ft., and Salons A, B and C, each of 1,477 sq. ft.
