The Rochester, Minn. Convention & Visitors Bureau (RCVB) has created “digital business cards” as a tool to market the city to meeting planners.
Downloaded onto portable, packaged USB drives, the digital business cards contain videos introducing the RCVB’s key sales staff and featuring other relevant information.
“We believe new technologies help provide convention and meeting planners a more three-dimensional view of Rochester,” said Brad Jones, executive director of the RCVB. “These tools are necessary steps toward accomplishing our long-term strategies and goals. We are no longer just a name on a card. Prospective organizers can now put faces to names, helping Rochester’s team stand out from the competition.”
