Rock the Stars, which offers a variety of music-themed programmes to motivate and inspire corporate meeting groups, is opening an office in San Francisco. Its first California event will be in the San Diego area on Sept. 1, 2009.

Company president Stewart Hall will relocate at the end of July and will be dividing his time between the U.S. and Canada.

“The need for quality team-building continues to expand, even more in times of economic challenge,” says Hall. He will continue in his role as Canadian account manager, responding to inquiries and requests for proposals.

Rock the Stars Canada will be run by managing director Jeff Pearce, best known as a producer, songwriter and founding member of Canadian rock band Moist. Jeff has been a senior facilitator with Rock the Stars for the past five years.
