Epic Restaurant has introduced prix-fixe menus.
Following the trend set by Toronto’s annual Winterlicious event, The Fairmont Royal York hotel’s Four Diamond restaurant, Epic, is now offering a special prix-fixe $25 lunch and $45 dinner menu.
Epic chef Ryan Gustafson is a strong advocate of sustainable farming and the hotel’s partnership with the Ocean Wise seafood-preservation programme.
Sustainability is reflected in the fish and shellfish offered by the restaurant, as well as in the local produce served.
Main-course options on the prix-fixe menus include fish, beef or pasta. Guests also choose from three appetizers and two desserts.
Accompanying the menus are a number of wine-pairing suggestions. The Royal York offers Ontario and international selections and for the past two years, has received the VQA Award of Excellence.
