Conveniently located at Yonge and Bloor, in the iconic Toronto Reference Library, the Bram & Bluma Appel Salon is a vibrant new literary and cultural commons in the heart of the city. Designed by Moriyama & Teshima Architects, the 16,000-sq.-ft. venue incorporates contemporary design elements, including a living wall at the main entrance, as well as interior glass walls providing abundant natural lighting. The state-of-the-art facility also features a fully-integrated audio, data and video communication and presentation infrastructure.

The Bram & Bluma Appel Salon can accommodate intimate gatherings to full-scale events in three versatile spaces. The largest is Epic Hall, with its fully-equipped kitchen and outdoor terrace with spectacular views of Rosedale Valley. Through a retractable glass partition, Epic Hall connects to the Prologue, providing prefunction space with a separate entrance, a full-service bar and an additional outdoor terrace. The combined spaces can accommodate functions for up to 460, while the smaller Novella Room is an ideal alternative for more intimate meetings for up to 120.

The Bram & Bluma Appel Salon is proudly partnered with Toronto’s best caterers. The facility also features an in-house event coordination team that will assist you in your event planning.
