The Sheraton Centre Toronto and Le Centre Sheraton Montreal have introduced networked electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, the first hotels in Canada to offer the service.

Guests of the Sheraton Centre Toronto and Le Centre Sheraton travelling by EV can charge their vehicles downtown while staying at either property.

In addition, the two charging stations at each hotel will be made available to residents and visitors of Toronto and Montreal.

The charging station is equipped with an industry standard connector and an industry standard outlet, compatible with cars, buses, Segway scooters and bikes.

Moreover, the stations provide EV drivers the ability to locate and navigate to charging stations and detect charging-station availability from any smart phone or web browser.

The system also facilitates EV trip mapping, driver billing and 24/7 driver assistance.
